This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HR People Partner based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to partner with global, remote teams and drive impactful people initiatives across a growing business environment.

You will support leaders and employees by improving organizational effectiveness, engagement, and retention.

The position combines strategic HR partnership with hands‑on execution across the full employee lifecycle.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement scalable HR processes and align people strategies with business goals.

The ideal candidate is data‑driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, international environment.

This is a highly collaborative role where your expertise will directly influence employee experience and organizational growth.

Accountabilities
  • Partner with business leaders to improve workforce effectiveness and ensure teams have the right structure, capabilities, and support to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Manage key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, succession planning, and offboarding.
  • Support workforce planning and staffing initiatives to ensure teams are appropriately resourced with qualified talent.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives by creating a positive and motivating work environment.
  • Implement HR policies, processes, and best practices while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and regulations.
  • Monitor employee and manager satisfaction with HR services and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze HR metrics such as engagement, turnover, compensation budgets, and workforce efficiency to support data‑informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver HR projects and initiatives in a distributed, international environment.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner, HR People Partner, or HR leadership role, ideally within fast‑growing or investment‑driven environments.
  • Proven experience partnering directly with founders, executives, and senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of company growth stages and organizational development challenges.
  • Experience managing and improving employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, career development, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with HR analytics, compensation and benefits processes, payroll budgets, engagement metrics, and workforce planning.
  • Experience supporting multiple teams, entities, or business units within a complex organizational structure.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, execute, and deliver results in an ambiguous environment.
  • Goal‑oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking and focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
  • High level of ownership, persistence, and adaptability when managing complex HR challenges.
  • Fluent written and spoken Russian and English communication skills.
