Ottawa HR Generalist - Bilingual

Position: Ottawa HR Generalist - Bilingual Role
Become an HR Generalist at CPAC, a position that requires fluency in both English and French. This full-time 15-month contract is based in our Ottawa office, offering a unique opportunity to influence public affairs journalism.

The selected HR Generalist will support essential HR services tailored to CPAC's unique culture. Responsibilities include recruiting new talent, managing compliance with the Canada Labour Code, and assisting in employee training. You will work closely with top leadership to maintain high HR standards and ensure effective program administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in HR policy development and implementation

• Coordinate compliance with employment regulations

• Manage all phases of recruitment and onboarding

• Provide payroll information to the finance team

• Facilitate Health and Safety training and reporting

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in human resources

• Five years of experience in a federally regulated setting

• Must be fully bilingual in English and French

• Proficient in HR software and systems

• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills
