Litigation Legal Assistant; Personal Injury

Handling Legal Assistant tasks from file initiation to closure

• Experienced in Plaintiff Personal Injury required
• Familiarity with Employment Law is considered an asset
• Drafting straightforward pleadings, such as application records, books of authorities, appeal records, and appeal books.
• Filing documents with court registries.
• Communication with opposing counsel, experts, and clients.
• Maintaining limitation dates and managing corresponding tasks.

• Over 2 years of law firm experience.
• Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with clients and staff at all levels.
• Capability to meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Word and a quick learner for new software and technology.
• Expected compensation range: $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience
• This is a new position with the firm
