Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
A well-established and highly respected Ottawa law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Litigation Associate to join its growing Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of professionals committed to delivering practical legal advice and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities- Manage estate litigation files from intake through resolution
- Represent clients in estate disputes and related civil litigation matters
- Appear before courts and tribunals as required
- Draft pleadings, motion materials, factums, and other litigation documents
- Conduct discoveries, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Provide strategic advice to clients on estate and civil litigation matters
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas when required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience practicing in a law firm
- Minimum 3 years’ focused experience in estate litigation
- Licensed member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Experience practicing law in Ontario
- Strong technical litigation skills
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Superior analytical and organizational abilities
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Demonstrated interest or involvement in business development
