Position: Litigation Legal Assistant (Personal Injury) Litigation Legal Assistant Personal Injury
Handling Legal Assistant tasks from file initiation to closure
Experienced in Plaintiff Personal Injury requiredFamiliarity with Employment Law is considered an assetDrafting straightforward pleadings, such as application records, books of authorities, appeal records, and appeal books.Filing documents with court registries.Communication with opposing counsel, experts, and clients.Maintaining limitation dates and managing corresponding tasks.What You Bring:Over 2 years of law firm experience.Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate an assetStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with clients and staff at all levels.Capability to meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining a positive demeanor.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.Proficiency in MS Word and a quick learner for new software and technology.Expected compensation range: $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experienceThis is a new position with the firm
