Position SummaryThe Manager of Physical and Digital Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology environment and property operations in a hybrid managed services model. This role ensures that both IT services and building facilities operate reliably, securely, and cost-effectively to support the organization’s strategic goals. The Manager leads vendor partnerships, supervises internal support staff, and oversees infrastructure and physical plant maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
RoleThe Manager of Physical and Digital Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology environment and property operations in a hybrid managed services model. This role ensures that both IT services and building facilities operate reliably, securely, and cost-effectively to support the organization’s strategic goals. The Manager leads vendor partnerships, supervises internal support staff, and oversees building maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
As a member of the Management Team, the Manager of Physical and Digital Infrastructure collaborates with the other members of the team to ensure that the Centre is managed effectively within the policy and planning direction established by the Board of Directors.
Reporting RelationshipThe Manager of Physical and Digital Infrastructure is directly accountable to the Director of Corporate Services for the implementation of their duties.
Skills,Education and Experience
Requirements for this position include:
Education and Language- Baccalaureate degree in business administration, public administration, health administration or other comparable field.
- Under the Centre’s designation to provide French Language Services, this position is not designated.
- 5+ years of management experience in IT, facilities management, or operations.
- Strong background in vendor management, service delivery, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with IT governance, cloud environments, and compliance standards.
- Experience in facilities management, maintenance, and vendor contract oversight.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Project management and change management expertise.
- Align both Physical and Digital infrastructure services with organizational goals and future growth.
- Serve as a business partner to leadership, providing data-driven recommendations for IT and facilities investments.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in workplace technology and property management.
- Foster a service-focused culture, ensuring both IT and facilities deliver high-quality employee experiences.

Conditions of EmploymentHours of work will be developed in collaboration with the successful candidate to ensure a healthy work‑life balance. A schedule of work will be based on the Centre’s hours of operation and program requirements and may include some evenings.
