Your new role

As the General Site Superintendent, the successful candidate will move beyond managing a single site to leading the entire field execution strategy. This individual will serve as the mentor and manager for a high-performing team of Site Superintendents, ensuring consistency, quality, and safety across multiple concurrent ICI and Civil projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:
Overseeing, mentoring, and developing a team of project-specific Superintendents, providing technical guidance onplex builds.

Resource Allocation:
Managing the strategic movement of labor, equipment, and materials across various sites to maximize efficiency.

Schedule Oversight:
Reviewing and vetting master project schedules to ensure milestones are met and potential delays are mitigated.

Safety & Quality:
Championing a "Zero-Harm" safety culture and maintaining rigorous quality control standards that exceed client expectations.

Stakeholder Relations:
Acting as the primary field liaison between project management, executive leadership, and external consultants.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, the candidate must be a seasoned construction professional with a "big picture" mindset and a deep technical understanding of both vertical and horizontal construction.

Experience:

A minimum of 15 years in construction, with at least 5 years in a Senior or General Superintendent capacity overseeing both ICI and Civil scopes.

Technical Proficiency: A strongmand of site services, structural concrete, steel, and high-spec interior finishes.

Leadership

Skills:

A proven ability to manage other Superintendents and resolve interpersonal or site-level conflicts effectively.

Education:

A post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a Journeyman Trade Certification. A Gold Seal Certification is highly preferred.
