Reporting to the Senior Director, Procurement, the Manager, Preconstruction assists with leading the development of complex project proposals, setting the direction for and leading pre-construction teams through all pre-construction activities, and managing client, consultant, and other stakeholder relations from project inception through to completion.This role will primarily help define and then ensure the implementation of the per-project strategy for the pre-construction process in its entirety from project securement through to the start of the major construction activities. This role will at times involve leadership of a dedicated preconstruction team on a major project and at other times the direct involvement in preconstruction activities across multiple medium-sized projects, depending on the current business unit project mix.
This position is based in our Ottawa office and will require travel to sites as needed. Please note that this position requires a Level II – Secret security clearance, as defined by the Government of Canada’s Contract Security Program.
