Position: Full-Time Strategic Development Advisor in Sri Lanka
Join INDECOS in Sri Lanka as a Strategic Planning and Organizational Development Advisor. Help build governance frameworks and enhance women’s empowerment through your expertise.

This full-time assignment lasts 4 to 6 months and is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. You will focus on improving strategic planning, governance, and organizational systems within the Institute for Development of Community Strengths (INDECOS) in Matara. This role includes mentoring INDECOS staff, establishing funding opportunities, and applying a gender equality lens across all programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review the strategic plan to align with organizational goals

• Strengthen governance structures for transparency and effectiveness

• Support talent pipeline development and leadership transition

• Improve operational frameworks and management practices

• Identify international partnerships and funding opportunities

Requirements:

• Relevant degree (master’s preferred) required

• Minimum two years in governance and strategic planning

• Experience in organizational sustainability

• Strong facilitation and training skills

• Proficiency in English
