About the Opportunity
Our Public Sector client is seeking one Senior Project Manager to support a registry operations review and process-mapping initiative. This project will focus on improving and streamlining registry service delivery by helping define project activities, coordinate timelines, monitor progress, manage risks, and support the development of key project documentation.
The successful candidate will provide project leadership across the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting phases of the work, working closely with project stakeholders and the broader consulting team to ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with approved timelines.
Duties- Plan, direct, monitor, and control all project team activities to ensure execution in accordance with established schedules and approved timelines
- Develop and maintain detailed project work plans by defining and prioritizing deliverables, identifying key milestones, tracking progress, and proactively managing risks
- Provide leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and evaluation
- Prepare and submit bi‑weekly written progress reports outlining status, achievements, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
- Meet with senior leadership as required to discuss project progress, risks, emerging issues, and proposed resolutions
- Coordinate, draft, and prepare project documentation and reports for review, approval, and signature by the designated authority
- Experience working on up to three (3) projects similar in scope to a review of an organizational structure and process mapping of operations, including projects involving current‑state assessment, future‑state planning, identification of gaps/risks/inefficiencies, and business process optimization
- Experience supporting projects involving the development of current‑state (“as-is”) and future‑state (“to-be”) process maps, including review of work processes, operational workflows, hand‑offs, dependencies, and accountability or decision points
- Experience developing and managing project plans, milestones, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and reporting activities
- Experience applying a structured project methodology, including project/work planning, milestone tracking, progress monitoring, risk mitigation, evaluation, and reporting
- Experience preparing clear project documentation, including project descriptions, deliverables, methodology summaries, progress reports, and materials for senior stakeholder review
- Ability to work with project stakeholders in both in-person and virtual settings
- Contract duration: From contract award to March 31, 2027
- Estimated level of effort: 80 days
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid. In‑person in the National Capital Region for process mapping activities, including interviews, workshops, and side‑by‑side meetings with staff. Post‑process mapping meetings may be conducted either in person or virtually, depending on operational requirements. Remaining work may be performed remotely.
