Complex Needs Housing Coordinator

Make a difference in the lives of individuals with complex needs as a Housing Coordinator with the John Howard Society of Ottawa. This role requires dynamic leadership in a supportive housing environment.

Aiming to fill this critical position, you will lead a dedicated team in managing a specialized transitional housing program. Your considerable experience (7+ years) in the developmental services sector is crucial for addressing the unique challenges faced by residents with dual diagnoses and behavioral challenges. Collaboration and innovation will be at the forefront of your contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth operations of the specialized residency

• Provide leadership and mentorship to support staff

• Oversee compliance and response to incidents effectively

• Lead risk management and crisis intervention strategies

• Maintain productive relationships with stakeholders and clinical partners

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Services or related fields

• 10+ years supporting individuals with significant needs

• Strong familiarity with SSPSIPDDA and related regulations

• Experience in multidisciplinary environments required

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and certifications
