Position: Director of Clinical Engineering at CHEO

The Director of Clinical Engineering provides leadership across CHEO's extensive clinical engineering service model. You will steer departmental strategies, quality improvement initiatives, and risk management aligned with CHEO's mission and values. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams and healthcare partners to enhance equipment reliability and support long-term planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for clinical engineering services

• Oversee operational budgets and manage resource allocations

• Foster a culture of safety, learning, and employee engagement

• Establish quality metrics and performance indicators

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and service enhancements

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant discipline

• Approximately 10 years of related experience

• Minimum 5 years in a management role

• Strong understanding of healthcare technology and procurement practices

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
