Join Southbridge Kemptville as the Environmental Services Manager, ensuring optimal, safe living conditions for our residents. This full-time role encompasses both personnel management and regulatory compliance.
The Environmental Services Manager has the crucial task of overseeing the cleanliness and safety of Southbridge Kemptville's long-term care facilities. Reporting to the Executive Director, your role will encompass managing departmental staff and their training, regular audits of laundry and housekeeping, and maintaining high safety standards throughout the facility. You will oversee equipment maintenance, manage departmental budgets, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean and secure living space for residents
• Oversee staff hiring, development, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with FLTCA and Public Health standards
• Supervise contractors to meet service obligations
• Manage departmental inventories and budgets
Requirements:
• Environmental Services certificate or relevant experience
• At least two years in managerial roles
• Familiarity with long-term care practices
• Health and Safety certification preferred
• Excellent communication abilities
