Position: Bilingual Senior Project Manager (FR/ENG)
SUMMARY
The Senior Project Manager plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects and ensures delivery within scope, budget and requirements.
At this level, projects are typically of moderate to high complexity, risk and exposure.
In addition, the role may also be accountable for providing immediate supervision to project administration and coordination roles.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
For the assigned projects:
Project Management
Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects. At this level, projects managed are typically of moderate to high complexity, risk and exposure.In collaboration with project stakeholders, defines project scope, deliverables and requirements.Develops and implements project plans.Determines resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.Identifies project risks and develops and implements mitigation and contingency plans.Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion.Oversees the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion.Communicates project status to relevant stakeholders.Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements.Client Relationship Management
Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients.Responsible for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.People Leadership
May be accountable for providing immediate supervision to project administration and coordination rolesOther duties as assignedUrgent Project Requirements
Project will be initiated immediately;
Project manager works with the operations team to identify and collect requirements.Start an immediate risk assessment, cost estimates, and kick off meeting with all concerned parties as an introduction and forecast of next steps.Funding is generally completed “on the fly” a good understanding of benchmarking, and or current industry costs to provide budgets to the client.Able to work independently on challenges to ensure the project keeps moving.Understands the importance of a regular cadence of communication.Navigate the client’s organization, to capture who should be engaged and when for project updates.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
College or University degree preferably in architectural technology, construction technology, engineering technology or equivalent work experienceMore than 5 years of project management work experienceAdvanced ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, within specifications, and in-compliant with all requirements including but not limited to regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements.Advanced ability to develop and manage project budgetAdvanced ability to mitigate and manage project risksHighly advanced ability to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve desired outcomesHighly advanced communication and interpersonal skillsHighly advanced ability to develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholdersHighly advanced ability to manage client relationships and expectationsA high degree of client service orientationAdvanced ability to manage vendor relationships and performancePossesses a continuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate best practices and technologies in order to optimize project delivery and deliver value to the clientComputer proficiency in MS Office applications in particular – MS Project, MS Excel, MS Outlook, along with ability to quickly learn new applicationsLicenses and/or Professional Accreditation
One or more of the following would be considered an asset:
Project Management Institute Accreditation.LEED certificationThis is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $90,675 - $113,344 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education, professional designations and performance related to this role.
