In the Economic Development & Infrastructure Branch, your primary responsibility will be to offer strategic guidance and develop policies that resonate with the needs of First Nations communities. This full-time role involves deep analysis of socio-economic trends and directing initiatives that foster sustainable growth in fisheries and infrastructure sectors. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you will build essential partnerships and represent the AFN in various high-profile engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement strategic development plans
• Offer policy recommendations in line with First Nations values
• Track legislative trends and socio-economic factors
• Collaborate with leadership to refine strategic direction
• Establish relationships with industry and First Nations leaders
Requirements:
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline
• 7–10 years in senior advisory or planning roles
• Comprehensive understanding of First Nations dynamics
• Proven track record in strategic implementation
• Strong analytical and communication skills
Leverage strategic insights to enhance the AFN's initiatives and support First Nations empowerment.
