Senior Manager

Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing assurance and accounting engagements, including relevant tax filings, with dedicated resources and paperless office infrastructure.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior and senior staff on assurance and accounting engagements.
  • Identifying and resolving assurance and accounting engagement issues.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Providing strategic insights and advice to clients to support their business goals.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of best practices within the team.
  • Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and expand service offerings.
Qualifications
  • Extensive Accounting

    Experience:

    A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting, coupled with successful completion of CPA exams.
  • CPA Designation:
    Possession of a CPA designation or active progress towards fulfilling the required hours for certification.
  • Leadership Proficiency:
    Proven track record in leading audit and assurance engagements and managing teams.
  • Client-Centric Approach:
    Demonstrated ability to provide value-added services to clients, with a strong commitment to their success.
  • ASPE Knowledge:
    Proficiency in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises requirements is a must.
  • Software Competence:
    Experience with Caseware and Taxprep software is highly desirable.
  • Deadline-Oriented:
    Strong understanding of a client-focused environment, including awareness of related deadlines, and the capability to consistently meet them.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion:
    Sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Team Player: A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Business Development:
    Experience in business development activities, with a focus on client acquisition and retention.
