As the Admissions and Rehoming Manager at the Ottawa Humane Society, you will steer a customer-focused team overseeing the well-being and adoptions of animals. This full-time position requires leadership that encourages professional growth while maintaining operational efficiencies and a positive public experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership to supervisors and frontline staff
• Ensure successful animal intake and adoption processes
• Foster community relationships and enhance service quality
• Enforce policies and manage sensitive situations
• Promote a culture of accountability and respect
Requirements:
• Post-secondary school degree or diploma in a related field
• 2 years minimum of customer service experience
• At least 3 years of staff management required
• Preferred knowledge of animal health and welfare
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Lead with purpose in animal welfare as a dedicated manager at the Ottawa Humane Society.
