As the Placemaking Manager, you will lead a dedicated team in enhancing the Bayview Yards experience. This multifaceted role involves developing placemaking strategies, managing events, and ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for all stakeholders. Collaborate with the Director to maintain the venue's operational excellence and build a welcoming community space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for tenant needs and resolve issues dynamically
• Oversee the planning and execution of diverse events
• Create engaging and inclusive community activities
• Develop and manage the venue's events budget
• Liaise with marketing strategists for effective communication
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of experience in events or venue management
• Excellent team leadership and coaching abilities
• Strong skills in financial management and budget tracking
• Curiosity about technology and its operational impact
• A deep commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion
