Sr Manager – Facility Operations

Fed Ex is seeking a Senior Manager of Facility Operations to plan, organize, direct and control all operations within the service area of the Ramp or midsize volume facility/Station in Nepean, Ontario. This full-time leadership role is responsible for delivering maximum service to customers while maintaining a safe, secure, and cost-effective operation.

• Plan and direct all operations within the Station and Ramp service area to maximize customer service delivery
• Manage budgetary objectives for the facility, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
• Lead people development initiatives, including performance management and operational leadership
• Oversee safety and security standards across all facility operations
• Monitor quality and performance metrics and take corrective action as needed
• Champion the customer experience by ensuring operations run smoothly and on schedule
• Complete mandatory training, recurrence certifications, and maintain annual accreditations

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent
• Four (4) years of business experience including two (2) years in direct management of employees, their performance and operational leadership
• The two (2) years of direct management must be within the past four (4) years
• Must possess a valid G licence and have a good driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
• Ability to work varying shifts based on business needs
• Bilingual (French and English) if residing in Quebec
• Proficiency in PC Windows environments
