Facilities Operations Leader

Position: CHEO Facilities Operations Leader
Drive operational excellence at CHEO as the Facilities Operations Manager. Focus on safety, compliance, and sustainable practices for the Integrated Treatment Center.

As the leader of facilities operations, you will report directly to the Director and be instrumental in managing complex facility systems for CHEO.

Your role encompasses preventive maintenance, service request oversight, and contractor management. You will also contribute to CHEO’s long-term redevelopment and sustainability goals, ensuring all operations align with patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety compliance across all systems and services

• Monitor and enhance energy conservation measures

• Lead contractor oversight and performance evaluations

• Develop operating procedures and training for safety

• Engage with stakeholders for effective communication

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering or related field with substantial experience

• Extensive background in facility operations management

• Proven leadership in managing service contracts

• Familiarity with facility management tools

• Valid Ontario driver’s license needed for site mobility
