Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ottawa, ON, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and ensuring efficient delivery of equipment and solutions. This role includes coordinating logistics and inventory, managing vendor and partner relationships, and optimizing processes for equipment deployment, service, and maintenance. The Operations Manager will supervise operational staff and machnics, monitor performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company’s mission.

The role also involves collaborating with sales and service teams, supporting customer projects, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The Operations Manager will contribute to strategic planning and help scale operations to support growth in municipal, airport, and private sector markets.

Qualifications
  • Operations management skills, including process optimization, workflow planning, and resource allocation.
  • Experience with logistics, inventory control, and coordination of equipment delivery and service.
  • Strong vendor and partner management capabilities, including contract coordination and performance monitoring.
  • People leadership skills, such as team supervision, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ability to analyze operational data, track KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of equipment or technology solutions for public works, infrastructure, or related industries is an asset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, service, and technical teams.
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
  • Comfort working in an on-site environment, with occasional travel to customer locations or partner facilities as needed.
  • Must be experienced to work on customers equipment including but not limited to diagnostics, estimates, repairs and overhauls on machanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
