Lead the ByWard Market District Authority (BMDA) in Ottawa as its Chief Executive Officer. Drive strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and oversee operations to enhance the iconic market experience.
In this senior role reporting to the Board of Directors, you will manage daily operations and ensure effective program implementation aligned with BMDA’s mission. Your expertise in urban planning, municipal government, and community revitalization will be essential as you prepare for the Market’s 200th anniversary. Fluency in both English and French is advantageous for engaging with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee strategic direction and administration of BMDA
• Lead and manage the daily operations effectively
• Engage with stakeholders and government partners
• Prepare for the 200th anniversary celebration
• Drive community revitalization and consensus-building
Requirements:
• Proven experience in senior executive roles
• Strong leadership and communication skills
