Take on the role of Environmental Sustainability Advisor with WUSC Ghana and lead initiatives for sustainable development in Accra. Deliver impactful strategies to address climate change while supporting women’s economic empowerment.
In this full-time position, you will focus on integrating environmental practices within the EMPLOY project and enhancing the capacity of partner organizations. Ideal candidates are committed Canadian citizens or permanent residents with experience in environmental sustainability. Your tasks will involve conducting assessments, collaborating on green strategies, and engaging with Canadian audiences on sustainability topics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments for environmental integration in operations
• Guide SMEs in adopting sustainable practices
• Monitor environmental compliance for projects
• Educate stakeholders on environmental sustainability
• Work with partners to implement green practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• Experience in environmental training and initiatives
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
