Overview
Drive fundraising success for NAWL as a Development Manager in Ottawa. This hybrid full‑time role focuses on strategic fundraising and engaging donors for impactful gender equality initiatives. As a Development Manager with NAWL, you will lead efforts in planning major annual fundraising events, pursuing grants, and managing donor relations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute major fundraising events annually
- Identify and secure grants and sponsor ships
- Draft and manage grant applications and reports
- Cultivate robust donor and partner relationships
- Maintain donor records using Donor Perfect
- Minimum five years in nonprofit fundraising roles
- Proven capability to independently execute fundraising events
- Relevant post‑secondary degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Familiarity with feminist issues and the nonprofit sector
