The Regional Director will play a critical role in advancing Nisa Foundation’s mission by providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across Quebec & ON (Ottawa). This senior role is responsible for ensuring the success of both Nisa Foundation Programs and Development (Donor Engagement, Events, Government Relations) initiatives within this province. This position requires a highly accomplished and strategic leader with the ability to drive growth, impact, and operational excellence while aligning regional priorities with national strategies.

The Regional Director will work in close partnership with the CEO and national leadership teams to shape and execute regional strategies, cultivate strong stakeholder relationships, and uphold the organization’s commitment to transparency, ethical stewardship, and respect for community sensitivities.

What You’ll Do:
  • Serve as the senior representative and ambassador for Nisa Foundation in Quebec & Ottawa (ON).
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all regional operations across Nisa Homes Montreal and Nisa Homes Ottawa ensuring alignment with national goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and national leadership team on planning, policy, and governance.
  • Translate national strategies into region‑specific initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across regional teams.
Programs Oversight
  • Oversee program delivery, ensuring quality, effectiveness, and measurable community impact.
  • Lead program evaluation, continuous improvement, and outcome reporting.
  • Support and develop regional program teams through coaching and professional development.
  • Lead and execute fundraising strategies for Quebec and ON (Ottawa), ensuring alignment with national fundraising goals.
  • Design and implement B2B (corporate and institutional) fundraising strategies, cultivating partnerships and securing sustainable contributions.
  • Develop and drive B2C (individual donor) strategies, including donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship initiatives.
  • Work closely with the central marketing and fundraising teams to integrate regional campaigns with national initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the grants team to identify, pursue, and manage funding opportunities relevant to Quebec and ON (Ottawa).
  • Oversee fundraising‑focused events and donor cultivation activities.
  • Execute on‑site responsibilities, including booth setup, event coordination, and hands‑on logistical tasks, ensuring seamless execution and successful outcomes.
  • Lead the planning and execution of regional outreach and fundraising initiatives through events and campaigns.
Community Engagement & Partnerships
  • Strengthen Nisa Foundation’s presence across Quebec and ON (Ottawa) through strategic engagement with community organizations, faith institutions, advocacy networks, and government stakeholders.
  • Cultivate mission‑driven partnerships that enhance programs, service delivery, and community impact.
  • Serve as the key spokesperson and ambassador for Nisa Foundation at community events and public forums.
  • Lead volunteer recruitment, training, retention, and recognition.
  • Build community coalitions and collaborations that advance the mission beyond fundraising.
Operations & Governance
  • Oversee regional operations across NH Montreal and NH Ottawa, including budget management, staffing, and governance compliance.
  • Ensure risk management practices are implemented effectively.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and achieve strategic and operational goals.
Ad Hoc Duties
  • Participate in additional meetings and undertake related responsibilities as reasonably assigned, including special projects, cross‑departmental initiatives, and other tasks necessary to support the effective operation of the organization.
