Position: Vice President Philanthropy Needed Cancer Foundation
Take on a leadership role as Vice President of Philanthropy at The Ottawa Cancer Foundation. Your mission is to enhance fundraising efforts and donor engagement while promoting cancer support services across the region.

In this key role, reporting to the CEO, you’ll guide the Foundation’s philanthropic strategy during a time of growth and increased community outreach. You will lead major fundraising initiatives, build solid partnerships, and foster donor commitment to improve cancer care experience. Your leadership will ensure alignment of philanthropic efforts with the Foundation’s vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive all aspects of fundraising and donor engagement efforts

• Strengthen partnerships with corporations and community leaders

• Initiate and manage successful fundraising campaigns

• Oversee donor stewardship and relationship cultivation

• Support and mentor the philanthropy team for operational success

Requirements:

• Proven track record in sophisticated fundraising strategies

• Strong relationship-management skills with stakeholders

• Excellent communication abilities for public engagement

• Experience in healthcare fundraising is beneficial

• Leadership experience in complex organizational settings
