Project Officer for Children and Youth

Lead community-focused youth programs as a Project Officer at the Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre in Ottawa.

Your role will focus on impactful programming for children aged 6 to 18.

This full-time role combines program development and community engagement, enabling youth to thrive through various initiatives. You'll create safe, inclusive spaces where young people can learn valuable life skills and connect with their community. Working collaboratively, you’ll empower participants while addressing social and emotional barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate community-based programs for youth

• Engage with families and schools to enhance participation

• Monitor attendance and participant engagement in programs

• Act as a role model and support network for youth

• Organize community outreach and promotional activities

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience directly with youth

• Education in social services or a related field preferred

• Bilingual skills in English and French required

• Experience in group facilitation and program evaluation

• Strong problem-solving and initiative-driven attitude
