Position: Project Lead for HomeShare at YMCA
Lead impactful home-sharing initiatives at YMCA as the Home Share Project Lead. This role combines community outreach and project management to assist seniors and newcomers in shared living.

As the Home Share Project Lead for YMCA of the National Capital Region, you will direct efforts to help seniors maintain residency in their homes by connecting them with newcomers needing accommodation. You will develop project plans, manage a steering committee, and engage with participants to facilitate positive matches. Your excellent communication skills will help build rapport with vulnerable residents and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Outline and execute detailed project plans

• Assist in steering committee meetings and documentation

• Match applicants with hosts based on needs

• Address general inquiries regarding home-sharing

• Record project successes for knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education, preferably in social services

• Bilingual in English and French

• At least one year of project management exposure

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Preferably have a valid Driver’s License
