Voice Found invites seasoned professionals to become expert Board Leaders, contributing governance knowledge in healthcare, finance, and fundraising. Ensure community impact through strategic leadership and oversight.
As a member of the Board of Directors, you will guide Voice Found in its mission to provide necessary healthcare and long-term recovery services for survivors of trafficking and abuse. Board members are expected to attend five to six hybrid meetings annually, investing around five hours monthly in governance, community engagement, and achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in board and committee meetings
• Uphold governance for the organization's long-term health
• Advocate the mission to wider audiences
• Build relationships with stakeholders and supporters
• Involve yourself in fundraising efforts and planning
Requirements:
• Expertise in healthcare leadership, finance, or fundraising
• Commitment to the mission supporting survivors
• Ability to fulfill fiduciary responsibilities effectively
• Previous experience on boards preferred
• Canadian residency is a must for applicants
