Drive impactful fundraising as the Development Manager at NAWL in Ottawa, utilizing a hybrid work arrangement. Focus on event planning and securing funding for women’s rights advocacy.
This full-time contracted role is essential for supporting NAWL’s Executive Director in executing fundraising strategies and organizing major events. Candidates should have a strong background in nonprofit fundraising, capable of tracking donor relationships while enhancing engagement and revenue streams. You will be pivotal in advancing NAWL’s mission towards gender equality in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage a key annual fundraising event
• Seek out and apply for various grants and funding
• Coordinate and write grant applications
• Maintain relationships with donors and partners
• Record fundraising activities meticulously in Donor Perfect
Requirements:
• At least five years in fundraising, preferably in a nonprofit
• Proven ability to manage fundraising initiatives independently
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Strong written communication skills
• Familiarity with feminism and non-profit initiatives
