The Board of Directors

Enviro Centre’s volunteer Board of Directors provides governance and oversight to the organization, contributing to business planning, organizational strategy, policy and compliance, financial stewardship, legal and ethical integrity and overall accountability. A board member can expect to participate in quarterly board meetings, as well as some committee work. Regular board duties will generally include review of quarterly financial statements and progress reports, development and/or review of policy and governance documents, risk analysis, review and approval of major contracts, Executive Director performance management and/or recruitment, board performance evaluation, and contribution to strategic planning processes, in collaboration with management.

Board members are also invited to participate in community events and training opportunities.

It is also a fun, supportive and social group. As a board director, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and shape some of the highest impact climate action projects in the region and beyond.

You will be joining an inspirational and creative group of people who want to bring their background and expertise to make a meaningful and positive change to the environment.
