Senior Vice President of Philanthropy

Lead transformative fundraising initiatives as the Senior Vice President of Philanthropy at The Ottawa Cancer Foundation. Champion community engagement and advance the organization’s mission.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will strategy oversee fundraising activities and develop strong connections within the Ottawa community.

Your role will focus on enhancing donor trust and broadening philanthropic investment in cancer care. Reporting to the CEO, you will ensure alignment between fundraising and the Foundation's operational goals to maximize impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement innovative fundraising strategies

• Build relationships with high-value donors and influencers

• Serve as an ambassador for the Foundation’s mission

• Strengthen communication and collaboration within the philanthropy team

• Drive awareness through public engagements and events
Requirements:

• Significant leadership experience in philanthropy

• Background in donor cultivation and stewardship

• Strong public speaking and networking skills

• Familiarity with cancer care and non-profit sectors

• People-centred approach to leadership and management
