Vice President of Philanthropy

Lead The Ottawa Cancer Foundation as Vice President of Philanthropy, driving fundraising initiatives and donor engagement strategies to enhance cancer support services. Drive visibility and build confidence amongst donors for impactful contributions.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the CEO to forge a comprehensive philanthropy strategy focused on expanding financial support. Your leadership will guide initiatives across major gifts and corporate giving while nurturing relationships that align with the Foundation’s mission. Engage with key stakeholders to amplify community collaboration and representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage effective fundraising strategies

• Enhance the Foundation’s profile in the community

• Act as a public ambassador at events

• Support operational efficiency within the philanthropy team

Requirements:

• Leadership experience in complex organizational fundraising

• Proven ability to cultivate high-value donor relationships

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Familiarity with cancer care or charitable fundraising

• Bilingual ability is an asset
