Support impactful climate change efforts as an Environmental Project Coordinator for the City of Ottawa. Engage in renewable energy initiatives and drive sustainability projects effectively. As part of the City of Ottawa's mission to combat climate change, the Project Coordinator will assist in implementing renewable energy strategies and enhancing energy management programs.
This role requires effective stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and project monitoring to support the city's climate mitigation efforts. Your contributions will directly enhance the City’s sustainability goals and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project coordination for climate change initiatives
- Analyze data related to energy efficiency and management
- Develop and present business cases for climate projects
- Engage with various stakeholders for collaboration
- Monitor and report on performance of sustainability initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or similar
- Minimum 3 years in project management and analysis
- Familiarity with Ottawa’s energy landscape
- Excellent communication abilities and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects
