Position: Nominations for EnviroCentre Board Members
Enviro Centre is seeking dedicated individuals for its Board of Directors to drive climate action in Ottawa. Are you ready to make a difference in sustainability and community engagement?
Enviro Centre invites nominations for four volunteer board members who will help guide the organization in its mission. Key roles will focus on governance, policy development, and oversight of impactful environmental projects. Ideal candidates will bring experience in sustainable practices, business management, and a commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide governance and oversee financial stewardship

• Collaborate in strategic planning and policy review

• Review quarterly financial statements and major contracts

• Engage in committee works and community outreach

• Attend all scheduled board meetings
Requirements:

• Familiarity with non-profit governance is preferred

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Understanding of equity and inclusion in organizational contexts

• Experience in sustainable transportation or waste management

• Commitment to advancing Canada's zero-emission goals
