Shape the future for women and children by serving as a Steering Committee Member ’s Women’s Centre in Ottawa. Participate actively in advocacy and community development efforts.
St. Joe’s Women’s Centre is looking for dedicated individuals for its Steering Committee. Members are expected to engage in approximately two hours of monthly meetings, supporting the Centre's mission and ensuring effective management of its financial and programming activities. Your input and active engagement will contribute to fostering a culture of inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend monthly Steering Committee meetings
• Participate in fundraising and outreach initiatives
• Supervise the management of programs and services
• Promote open, inclusive dialogue within the Committee
• Share creativity and knowledge actively
Requirements:
• Genuine interest in improving lives of low-income women
• Commitment to equity and community values
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
• Willingness to dedicate time and energy
• Engage in open communication and support initiatives
