Join the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County as a Fund Development and Communications Committee volunteer. Your passion can drive community change, creating a more dementia-inclusive society.
This volunteer position invites residents of Ottawa and Renfrew County to contribute their insights towards our mission. You will engage with community members, brainstorm events, and influence fundraising strategies. With a minimum two-year term and virtual meetings, your involvement offers flexibility and valuable experience in nonprofit governance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect businesses and community members to our cause
• Support and host engaging digital and local events
• Design effective fundraising campaigns and donor engagement
Requirements:
• Must reside in Ottawa or Renfrew County
• Skills in networking, community building, or marketing
• Willingness for a two-year commitment and bi-monthly meetings
• Passion for making a difference in the community
• Collaborative spirit to inspire and innovate
