Position: Morrison Gardens Food Bank Volunteer Role
Support the Morrison Gardens food bank as a volunteer to assist community members in need in Ottawa. Work alongside staff and fellow volunteers every Monday from 1-3 pm.

As part of Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre, this volunteer position fosters community engagement and service. You will focus on serving food bank clients, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your contribution helps meet the needs of individuals and families in a diverse neighborhood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food distribution to clients

• Organize items neatly on shelves

• Sweep and maintain cleanliness of the food bank

• Remove garbage to ensure a tidy space

Requirements:

• Personable and people-focused attitude

• Reliability in fulfilling volunteer duties

• Preference for bilingual candidates (English and French or Arabic)

• Compliance with screening and training protocols
