Youth Programs Manager at ACAO

Lead community-focused youth programs with the African Canadian Association of Ottawa. This full-time role emphasizes engagement, program development, and inclusivity for youth in Ottawa.

ACAO seeks a skilled Youth Programs Manager for a term contract until March 31, 2027. You will coordinate the planning, delivery, and evaluation of youth programs that align with community needs. Collaborate closely with youth, families, staff, and partners to ensure program effectiveness and safety for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop youth programs aligned with ACAO’s goals

• Engage youth to provide mentorship and support

• Coordinate resources, staff, and volunteers for program delivery

• Monitor program budgets and expenditures efficiently

• Gather program data for evaluation and reporting

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in related fields

• Experience in youth programming and community engagement

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and needs

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and communication tools
