Become a Volunteer Grant Writer with the Child and Youth Permanency Council of Canada. Help secure funding for vital community experiences that empower BIPOC youth transitioning out of care.
This role involves collaborating closely with the Executive Director and staff to create persuasive grant applications that reflect the mission of The Holistic Hub. Your writing and relationship-building skills will be critical in advancing funding initiatives for long-term community impact, ensuring that youth voices and needs are prioritized in advocacy efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and identify potential funding sources
• Write and submit impactful grant proposals
• Develop budgets and track grant submissions
• Maintain relationships with funders and donors
• Prepare presentations for potential funders
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in grant writing and funding success
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in grant management systems
