Position Title:

Volunteer Outreach Ambassador

Location:

Commitment:

4–8 hours per week

Day Addiction Recovery Programme – Community Outreach Team

About Glimpse of Hope

Glimpse of Hope provides trauma‑informed, client‑centered addiction recovery support through our Day Addiction Recovery Programme. Volunteers help us extend our reach into the community, connecting individuals to life‑changing support.

Role Summary

Volunteers serve as non‑clinical outreach ambassadors
, helping distribute materials, engage community members, support agency relationships, and promote access to recovery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct community outreach in assigned territories
  • Introduce Glimpse of Hope Foundation using trauma-informed scripts
  • Distribute brochures, referral cards, and posters
  • Engage shelters, clinics, and community centers
  • Support awareness events and workshops
  • Submit daily outreach logs and weekly reports
  • Maintain professional boundaries and safety protocols
  • Uphold confidentiality and trauma‑informed communication standards
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable engaging diverse community members
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Ability to work in pairs and follow safety guidelines
  • Compassionate, non‑judgmental approach
  • No clinical experience required
