Canadian Center for Women’s Empowerment (CCFWE) is on the lookout for four passionate volunteers to serve as Social Justice Writers. In this role, you will develop expressive content that addresses economic abuse and promotes gender equity. Your responsibilities will include generating innovative story ideas, gathering insights, and editing content that aligns with CCFWE’s advocacy goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write compelling articles and content for diverse platforms
• Conduct thorough research and propose engaging story topics
• Collaborate with CCFWE teams for accurate information
• Pitch articles to prominent publishers and media
• Ensure content promotes awareness and insight
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years in nonprofit writing or communications
• Exceptional storytelling and proofreading skills
• Strong capability to prioritize assignments
• Proficient with Google Docs and Office programs
