SuperWalk Volunteer Roles 2026

Be part of something special at the Ottawa Super Walk on September 12, 2026, and help raise critical funds for Parkinson’s research and advocacy. As a volunteer, you can play a key role in this heartwarming event.

The Super Walk is the flagship annual fundraiser for Parkinson Canada, enabling important resources for individuals affected by Parkinson's. As an Event Day Volunteer, you’ll collaborate with local committees and directly influence the success of the day’s activities. Your efforts will contribute to a welcoming and organized environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in set-up and take-down of event facilities

• Assist in registration and check-in processes

• Greet and guide attendees throughout the event

• Provide food service to support volunteers and participants

• Cheer on participants as they complete their walk

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 12 to volunteer without an adult

• Available for a shift from 11:00am to 1:00pm

• Promote the event among friends and family

• Engage positively with fellow volunteers

• Embrace the mission of supporting those with Parkinson's
