Youth and Young Adult Leader

Lead a vibrant youth and young adult ministry in Ottawa, Canada, where young people thrive in faith and community. This role emphasizes authenticity, outreach, and spiritual growth.

As the Youth and Young Adult Leader at Community Bible Church, you will oversee the existing youth group and develop a dynamic ministry for ages 18-29. We seek someone with a genuine faith, excellent interpersonal skills, and a heart for engaging with youth, including non-Christians. Your leadership will facilitate deeper connections among participants while fostering outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide vision and focus for youth and young adult ministries

• Recruit and oversee a strong team of leaders

• Plan and execute innovative outreach events

• Maintain communication with parents and community

• Develop an annual ministry budget and calendar

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of pastoral experience with youth

• Authentic relationship with Jesus and strong work ethic

• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

• Compassion for volunteers and community

• Theological training is an asset but not required
