In this full-time position, you will work closely with The Ottawa Hospital, OHRI, and The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, shaping fundraising strategies for innovative research initiatives. Your experience in non-profit fundraising will be essential, alongside strong communication and relationship-building skills, to cultivate enduring philanthropic connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to set fundraising priorities

• Inspire and manage philanthropic gifts for research innovation

• Negotiate complex gift allocations with stakeholders

• Review financial reports for donation accuracy

• Mitigate risks related to philanthropy and sustainability

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in relevant field; advanced degree preferred

• 5-7 years of experience in non-profit fundraising

• Proven communication and relationship-building skills

• Strong project management abilities in diverse settings

• Understanding of health research and life sciences
