We are currently seeking a Back of House Operations Manager to lead our operational departments and develop high-performing teams and leaders. This individual will play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing talent, maintaining high standards, and positioning the restaurant for continued success.

Reporting directly to the Owner/Operator
, the Back of House Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the overall performance and development of the restaurant's operational departments.

The responsibilities of the Back of House Operations Manager include, but are not limited to:

• Lead Operational Excellence – Oversee the growth, performance, and efficiency of all operational departments to support the restaurant's strategic objectives and overall vision.
• Develop People & Leaders – Cultivate a growth-minded culture and develop Team Members, Area Coordinators, and Supervisors into confident, motivated, and high-performing leaders.
• Build a Strong Culture – Foster a culture centered around growth, product knowledge, stewardship, excitement, generosity, and a commitment to serving others.
• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with the Marketing and Human Resources teams to support sales growth, strengthen the Chick-fil-A brand, maintain compliance with health and safety standards, and develop community initiatives.
• Coach & Develop Area Coordinators – Serve as an accountability coach for Area Coordinators, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and support while ensuring departmental goals are established and achieved.
• Develop Supervisors – Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to Supervisors while overseeing their areas of ownership and progress toward established goals.
• Create Operational Systems – Develop and implement effective and innovative systems that improve efficiency, consistency, and operational excellence throughout the restaurant.
• Maintain Food Safety Standards – Ensure the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and operational compliance are consistently maintained.
• Manage Performance & Accountability – Handle employee performance and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and procedures. Prioritize constructive, in-person conversations that encourage accountability and growth, while escalating matters when appropriate.
• Business Planning & Performance – Prepare and submit monthly business plans incorporating SMART goals and actionable strategies to drive operational performance, team development, and business growth.
• Food Cost, Inventory & Stewardship – Oversee food cost, inventory management, waste reduction, and overall stewardship of restaurant resources.

The successful candidate will possess:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Advanced Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain certification
• Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and supervisory experience
• Strong ability to coach, develop, and hold others accountable
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• A commitment to operational excellence and developing people
• Previous Chick-fil-A experience is considered an asset
