Kitchen Dishwasher at Cogir Senior Living

Become an integral part of our culinary team at Cogir Senior Living as a Dishwasher. In this role, you will ensure that the kitchen remains clean, hygienic, and ready to serve our beloved residents.

Reporting to the Culinary Manager, your primary duties will include operating dishwashers and maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen. You will be responsible for not only washing dishes but also cleaning cooking areas, ensuring that equipment is sanitized and ready for meal preparation. Your efforts will contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and operate dishwashers efficiently

• Keep cooking surfaces and kitchen tools clean

• Mop the floors to maintain order

• Ensure safety protocols in food preparation areas

• Engage in training sessions for skill improvement

Requirements:

• Empathy toward the elderly and individuals with disabilities

• Ability to adhere to food safety guidelines

• Must be able to read and write in English

• A current Vulnerable Sector Check is required

• Capable of working quickly and accurately
