Position: Extendicare Dietary Aide Position

Support the dining needs of residents as a Dietary Aide s part-time position involves serving meals, assisting with food prep, and keeping dining areas clean.

Reporting to the Dietary Manager, your role will include serving meals in a polite and professional manner and prepping various food items. You will ensure tables are set, dishware is clean, and participate in special community events. Commitment to health and safety regulations is crucial in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve meals to residents and guests expertly

• Assist in meal preparation for service

• Clear tables and clean dining areas

• Help with catering for special events

• Follow safety and health guidelines strictly

Requirements:

• Valid Food Handler's Certificate required

• Experience in the food service industry preferred

• Enrollment in Food Service Worker Training Program

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Physically able to stand and lift heavy items
