In the Cook position, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving meals that cater to residents’ preferences. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen is essential as you collaborate with staff to create a welcoming dining experience. This rewarding job allows you to support residents’ health through thoughtful meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cook and serve meals based on dietary preferences
• Sanitize dining and kitchen preparation areas
• Store and manage leftover foods properly
• Execute cooking tasks at proper temperatures
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen supplies and laundry
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Experience in large-scale food prepping
• Familiarity with food safety standards
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Must have Food Services Handlers certification
