The RoleHi! I’m Guy, President of Penguin Living and Zigma Homes. We are a small and mighty team. We are a VERY tight-knit and supportive group.
The Residence Advisor role is new to Zigma, and we are excited to bring on two professionals in this role. You will meet with prospective renters/buyers of Zigma homes. You should genuinely enjoy helping these qualified prospective renters as they explore these units. You will work from a Zigma home each day and collaborate with your small but mighty team, all while enjoying a 4.5 day work week.
Key Responsibilities- Act as an informative, consultative professional, guiding prospective, qualified clients (families) to a clear yes/no decision using a repeatable process, primarily through text, phone conversations, and in-person showings
- Work in person from a Zigma Home each day, meeting with prospective clients
- Assist in the leasing, rental, and sales of homes, guiding potential buyers or renters through the application process
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, and promote Zigma Homes’ unique value proposition to current and prospective clients
- Have experience in any of these fields: inside sales (B2B) or solution selling, banking or financial services or mortgages, account executive, leasing consultant (purpose-built rentals), admissions advisor (education), customer success/onboarding specialist, relocation services, insurance, or a similar field
- Can help a client crunch some quick numbers (e.g., rent scenarios in relation to household income)
- Are NOT a high pressure closer. Our product speaks for itself.
- Expect to sell a solution to smart people with strong family incomes
- Are comfortable carrying out a clear process, within a structured decision system
- Compassionate, consultative, helpful, professional, and approachable
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Comfortable following a script, having some calls reviewed so that you can reflect, receive feedback, and level up
- Experience with leasing, rentals, and residential property sales processes.
- Experience in customer service, tenant relations, real estate, or property management is an asset.
- An undergrad degree in accounting or finance is an asset
- Having a car is an asset, but not required
